Producing not only exceptional coffee, it is also committed to having a positive impact environmentally and furthering a richer community bond. One example, almost 97% of the original land the Montero family purchased in the 1900s has been dedicated to forest preservation. A significant share, now Amistad International Park – the largest natural reserve in Central America, is currently owned by the Costa Rican government.
