San Antonio is noted for its small farms and rich ecological biodiversity surrounding Rio Páez. It is also recognized as a home to the indigenous Páez people who live high in the Andes Mountains and are known for their colorful dyed textiles. The decaffeination process was done by Descafecol in Manizales using the natural EA-sugarcane process.
