Hacienda Sonora is a fifth generation coffee farm in Costa Rica’s West Valley region and has spanned more than 100 years.

The farm rests at 1300 meters above sea level, and is planted with a variety of cultivars, including this Caturra varietal, which is a natural mutation of old Bourbon types initially discovered in Brazil, and known for high cup quality.

Grower: Hacienda Sonora

Region: Alajuela, Central Valley. - Costa Rica

Elevation: 1300 masl

Process: Dry Process (Natural) dried on raised beds in the sun.

Varietal: Centroamericano-Modern Hybrids
